Woodland Trail

(Average user rating: unrated unrated)

About Woodland Trail

For a slightly shorter trail, turn left before the summit and follow the blue way markers.

The blue route returns along a quiet oak-edged burn, adorned with bluebells in May and June. Listen out for the woodland birds in spring and summer.

How to get there:

Woodland Trail can be started from Sallochy car park in East Loch Lomond Woodland which is part of Queen Elizabeth Forest Park. Drymen is the nearest town or village.

From Stirling, follow the A811 to Drymen and then from Glasgow, take the A809.

From Drymen take the B837 for east Loch Lomond and Rowardennan. Sallochy car park is approximately nine miles along this road.
