Red Sound Trail

From the car park, on a firm path surface, the trail takes you though mature woodland along the side of Loch Drunkie. Enjoy the tranquillity of the forest and the views across the loch. In contrast try the interactive sound sculptures along the way. As the path leaves the loch shore it climbs gently before returning to the car park through a mature stand of spruce trees.

How to get there:

Red Sound Trail can be started from Pine Ridge car park in Achray Forest which is part of Queen Elizabeth Forest Park. Aberfoyle is the nearest town or village.

From Aberfoyle follow the Dukes Pass north.Take a right turn into the 3 Lochs Forest Drive. There is a charge of £2 per car. Pine Ridge car park is located within the forest and is only accessable by car when the 3 lochs Forest drive is open.
