About Green Sound Trail

This walk starts from the Pine Ridge car park which is accessed via the Forest Drive.

The 3 Lochs Forest Drive will be closed for the winter period from the 29th October 2011. It is open during the season April - October, 10am - 5pm. Out of season it is still accessible by foot or cycle.

The path initially follows the Red Sound trail through mature woodland, along the banks of Loch Drunkie and past the interactive sound structures.

When the path leaves the red waymarked route, it continues to follow the loch for a short distance before rising gently through a stand of large conifers to join the Forest Drive.

Please note the Forest Drive is open to vehicles seasonally from April - September, 10am - 5pm.  Out of season it is still accessible by foot or cycle.
