West Achray
 

The trail follows forest road and paths which are firm and dry under foot. The route is steep in places and there are sections where there may be some loose surface material. Enjoy the diversity of Achray Forest as the trail leads you through native woodland, young conifer plantation and mature mixed conifer forest. Along the way there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the scenery with views of Ben Venue, Ben A'an, Ben Lediand Loch Achray.

How to get there:

West Achray can be started from Leannach in Achray Forest which is part of Queen Elizabeth Forest Park. Aberfoyle is the nearest town or village.

Follow the Dukes Pass north out of Aberfoyle for approx. 5 miles. The car park is on your left hand side.
