3 Lochs Forest Drive
 

Opened in 1977 to mark the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II it consists of seven and a a half miles of winding forest road. Enter from the Duke's Pass road to enjoy superb views across the forest towards the Trossachs. The Forest Drive closes over the winter months between September and April. How to get there:

3 Lochs Forest Drive can be started from Duke's Pass in Achray Forest which is part of Queen Elizabeth Forest Park. Aberfoyle is the nearest town or village.

Follow the A821 north from Aberfoyle or west from Callander.

What's of interest
A lot of work has recently been carried out to the forest environment around the Duke's Pass and Achray Forest Drive. Some fantastic views have been opened up looking over Loch Achray and the Trossachs. Experience the sound scupture trail at Pine Ridge.
