About Allt a Cham Ruidhe

Follow the Forest Drive for a short way before leaving the road on a well-constructed path. After crossing the Allt a'Cham Rhuidhe, the path climbs steeply for a short distance before it levels out and offers good views of the surrounding hills including Ben A'an and Ben Venue.

There are also fine views across Loch Achray to Tigh Mor Trossachs and Trossachs Kirk. As you descend towards Loch Achray, the path rejoins the Forest Drive and follows it back to the car park.

How to get there:

Allt a Cham Ruidhe can be started from Achray, Forest Drive Exit in Achray Forest which is part of Queen Elizabeth Forest Park. Aberfoyle is the nearest town or village.

Follow the Dukes pass north out of Aberfoyle. The car park is situated at the end of the Three Lochs Forest Drive, approximately seven miles north. This access is not signed.
