Castle Trail
A more demanding walk taking you higher up into the forest, with some fine views out over the surrounding landscape.
How to get there:
Castle Trail can be started from Thornielee Car Park in Thornielee which is part of Forests of the Scottish Borders. Walkerburn and Galashiels are the nearest towns or villages.
Take the A72 from Walkerburn or Galashiels.
