Cairns Trail
 

This trail provides a stiff climb to the forest edge - but is rewarded with excellent views out over the Tweed Valley.

How to get there:

Cairns Trail can be started from Thornielee Car Park in Thornielee which is part of Forests of the Scottish Borders. Walkerburn and Galashiels are the nearest towns or villages.

Take the A72 from Walkerburn or Galashiels.
