(Average user rating: unrated unrated)

About The Glentress Black Route

The Glentress V Trail is a long, technical ride that includes epic climbing and thrilling descending.

The route starts from the Osprey car park, climbing up on the same forest road and singletrack trail that’s used by the Red route. The trail splits from the red route shortly after the Buzzard’s Nest car park.

Check out the the boneshaking Soor Plooms, the rocky Goat Track, Tower Ride, the gnarly Kipps Loop, Britney Spears, Ewok Village the Black Dog and the Worm Hole.

For more information, including trail conditions, please see the official 7stanes website.

How to get there:

The Glentress Black Route can be started from The Osprey Car Park in Glentress Forest which is part of Forests of the Scottish Borders. Peebles is the nearest town or village.

The entrance to the car park is one and a half miles east of Peebles on the A72.

Once on the forest road, follow the signs to the 7stanes, Osprey, Red Squirrel and Buzzard Nest car parks.
