About Blue Route
Whether you’re ready to step up from green-graded trails to the next level, or want an exciting but less technical ride, the Glentress Blue Trail is ideal.
It’s an occasionally testing, exciting introduction to cross-country singletrack riding which keeps off the forest roads for much of its length.
For more information, including trail sections and up-to-date conditions, please see the official 7stanes website.
How to get there:
Blue Route can be started from The Osprey Car Park in Glentress Forest which is part of Forests of the Scottish Borders. Peebles is the nearest town or village.
The entrance to the car park is one and a half miles east of Peebles on the A72.
Once on the forest road, follow the signs to the 7stanes, Osprey, Red Squirrel and Buzzard Nest car parks.
