About Pilot's Trail

This trail takes you on a lap of Cademuir Forest, with many viewpoints.

How to get there:

Pilot's Trail can be started from Barn Owl Car Park in Cademuir which is part of Forests of the Scottish Borders. Peebles is the nearest town or village.

From Peebles High Street, head west towards Glasgow until you come to the mini-roundabout at the end of the High Street.

Turn left, and go on to the B7062. Once over the bridge, take the second right and follow the signs for the school. Turn right uphill and just before the school, turn left onto the unclassified road.

Follow this road (past the first Cademuir access point) for approximately three miles. The Barn Owl car park is on the right.
