(Average user rating5 unrated 5/5)

About Glenashdale Falls

This circular walk is particularly good after a couple of days of heavy rain when the burn is in full spate and cascades over a 140 foot drop.

The path leads up one side of the burn and down the other and goes past an iron age fort.

How to get there:

Glenashdale Falls can be started from Ashdale Bridge in Glenashdale Forest which is part of Arran. Whiting Bay is the nearest town or village.

From Whiting Bay, turn right up the track on the south side of Ashdale bridge, signposted Glenashdale Falls. he entrance to the Forest is about half a mile along the track.

Fantastic sight with the recent cold spell, half frozen and half running. The views from the Giants Graves were spectacular.
