Blue Walk

(Average user rating: unrated unrated)

About Blue Walk

This varied trail climbs up through open pine woods and down by young mixed planting with views across to the Moray Firth. It then returns on forest road and track, with one section under mature beech trees.

  • Check before you go - for details of trail closures, diversions and changes to listed events see the updates page.

How to get there:

Blue Walk can be started from Monaughty in Forests of Moray and Aberdeenshire. Elgin and Miltonduff are the nearest towns or villages.

From Elgin take the B9010 Dallas road for one mile, then the Pluscarden minor road for a further 2.5 miles, where the Torrieston car park is on the right.

From Forres, take the B9010 Rafford/Dallas road for four miles, then the Pluscarden minor road. The Torreston car park is two miles beyond Pluscarden, on the left.
