Red Walk
 

This trail meanders through the forest just in from the shore to emerge on a grassy knoll by the Bessie Burn with great views across the Moray Firth.

How to get there:

Red Walk can be started from Roseisle Car Park in Roseisle which is part of Moray Forests. Kinloss is the nearest town or village.

By car - From A96 at Forres take the B9011 to Kinloss, then B9089 (Burghead). Entrance is signposted 6 miles (10km) on left. , From Elgin take the A96 west, then B9013 (Burghead). At College of Roseisle turn left and follow signs. Entrance is 2 miles (3km) on right. , There is a small charge of £1.00 to park your car in the car park, which is used towards the upkeep of the picnic area. Season tickets are available for £10.00 and can be purchased from the on-site warden. If he's not around they are available from Tourist Offices, or by sending a cheque (payable to Forestry Commission) to the Moray District Office, Balnacoul, Fochabers, IV32 7LL.
