Red Walk

This short trail is reached by steps from the car park. The lower section follows a very pleasant path adjacent to fields and under a canopy of majestic Douglas Fir. It returns by a forest track through mature pine and fir.

How to get there:

Red Walk can be started from Torrieston Car Park in Monaughty which is part of Moray Forests. Elgin and Miltonduff are the nearest towns or villages.

By car - From Elgin take the B9010 Dallas road for 1 mile, then the Pluscarden minor road for a further 2.5 miles, where the Torrieston Car Park is on the right., From Forres, take the B9010 Rafford/Dallas road for 4 miles, then the Pluscarden minor road. The Torrieston Car Park is on the left.
