Balblair BLACK Grade Trail

Are you an experienced mountain biker who is up for a challenge? Then have a go at the BLACK route. There is plenty here to test even the most experienced cyclist with rock slabs such as "Rock Hard" and "Candy Mountain", timber trails and lung busting uphill sections. Not for the faint hearted, but the view from the top of the hill from the mast is well worth the effort.

How to get there:

Balblair BLACK Grade Trail can be started from Balblair Mountain Bike Trails in Kyle of Sutherland Mountain Bike Trails which is part of Sutherland. Bonar Bridge is the nearest town or village.

From Bonar Bridge take the A836 West towards Lairg for about one mile and the car park is signposted on the right.
