Loch View Walk
 

This walk leads to an idyllic loch edged with old Scots Pine and then on to a battlefield viewpoint. This fine view east over the Dornoch Firth overlooks the site of Montrose's last battle.

How to get there:

Loch View Walk can be started from Carbisdale Castle in Carbisdale which is part of Sutherland. Culrain is the nearest town or village.

Take the train to Culrain Station., Drive North of Ardgay following signs for Carbisdale Castle Youth Hostel.
