Castle Walk

 

This walk passes Carbisdale Castle and goes through pleasant mixed woodland. The return to the car park goes past tumbling Culrain Burn and some particularly good mature oak trees.

How to get there:

Castle Walk can be started from Carbisdale Castle in Carbisdale which is part of Sutherland. Culrain is the nearest town or village.

Take the train to Culrain Station., Drive North of Ardgay following signs for Carbisdale Castle Youth Hostel.
