Borgie Forest Walk
 

The forest walks both run close to the River Borgie through an area replanted with Native trees after several storms blew down the original giants. In the spring the flowering gorse beside the river is spectaculare

How to get there:

Borgie Forest Walk can be started from Borgie Glen Car Park in Borgie which is part of Sutherland. Bettyhill is the nearest town or village.

The car park is situated down a forest road South of the A836, 7 miles West of Bettyhill. Proceed down the forest road for about 1 mile from the A836 following the Borgie Glen and the car park signs. From the car park you can follow waymarked routes for cycling, walking or horse riding.
