Borgie Forest Walk

(Average user rating: unrated unrated)

About Borgie Forest Walk

There are two forest walks (red and blue waymarked) that both run close to the River Borgie through an area replanted with Native trees after several storms blew down the original giants.

In the spring the flowering gorse beside the river is spectacular.

This trail links with A'Chraobh spiral trail.

How to get there:

Borgie Forest Walk can be started from Borgie Glen Car Park in Borgie which is part of Sutherland. Bettyhill is the nearest town or village.

The car park is situated down a forest road south of the A836, seven miles west of Bettyhill. Proceed down the forest road for about one mile, following the Borgie Glen and the car park signs.
