About Balblair Walk

Balblair forest is noted for its excellent views over the Kyle of Sutherland towards Carbisdale Castle in the west, and the Dornoch Firth and Struie Hills in the east.

As you climb futher up the hill, this forest walk talks advantage of the best of these viewpoints.

How to get there:

Balblair Walk can be started from Balblair car park in Balblair which is part of Sutherland. Bonar Bridge is the nearest town or village.

From Bonar Bridge, take the A836 west for about one mile - the car park is signposted on the right.
