(Average user rating: unrated unrated)

About Achany Glen

A cool and tranquil walk to get away from it all. This is a mixed conifer forest with lots of small glades of old alder and ancient birch trees covered in beautiful carpets of moss.

This walk starts from Shin Falls Visitor Centre.

How to get there:

Achany Glen can be started from Shin Falls in Achany which is part of Sutherland. Lairg is the nearest town or village.

Take the A839 west of Lairg. About half a mile out of the village turn left down the B864, following signs for Shin Falls.
