Torrachilty Cycle Trail
There is much to see on the cycle route at Torrachilty, with the River Blackwater running along part of the route and Ben Wyvis rising to 1046m as a fitting backdrop. Contin car park and picnic site serve as a start point, although the route can be joined from Dingwall or Strathpeffer at the Heights of Keppoch (NH501604), or from Inchbae on the Ullapool road (NH406689). The route takes you over undulating terrain and once into the heart of the forest, there are opportunities to see birds and animals in the wild, as well as much of archaeological interest.
