This trail twists and turns down Callachy hill before climbing and crossing over to Learnie where the trail enjoys magnificent views of the Moray Firth.

How to get there:

Blue can be started from Learnie Red Rock Carpark in Learnie. Rosemarkie is the nearest town or village.

Follow the A832 Cromarty road. The car park is on the right about three miles from the village of Rosemarkie.

This was most rewarding. Slowly pedalling in a very low gear and winding my way up hill I was able to examine the forest floor more thoroughly than if I 'd been walking at a faster speed! The views from the top were magnificent. I really felt I'd achieved something. Age not withheld 51!
