The River Lundy Walk

(Average user rating: unrated unrated)

About The River Lundy Walk

A very pleasant walk that follows the River Lundy westwards before crossing it and returning through fields to the forest road on the opposite side of the river before returning to the car park.

It's a great place to pick brambles in September and get superb views of the Ben and surrounding hills.

Part of this walk is also used by cyclists. Caution should be taken, as cyclist often appear without warning. Pedestrians have the right of way on the forest walk.

How to get there:

The River Lundy Walk can be started from Aonach Mor car park in Leanachan. Fort William is the nearest town or village.

Follow the signs for the Aonach Mor Ski Centre off the A82 approximately four miles north of Fort William and three miles south of Spean Bridge
