The river Garry Path

Leaving the car park you walk along the banks of the river before heading to higher ground. The walk takes you through a stand of mature spruce trees that have been kept due to their size and the habitat around their base. Here you will also see some waterfalls and some wood ant nests before retuning to the car park.

How to get there:

The river Garry Path can be started from Ciste Dubh Car park in Glen Garry Native Pine Wood. Invergarry is the nearest town or village.

Follow the directions as described to get to the wood. Once you have turned off the main road you drop down to the river where you cross a bridge. The car park is directly on your right.
