BATS IN THE FOREST
 

Come along and learn about the Bats that live in the woods. Learn to make and put up Bat boxes with the Forest Rangers and members of the Inverness Bat Group. Barbecue and Bat surveying after making and erecting boxes.

How to get there: From Inverness, take the B862 to Dores, then the B852 to Inverfarigaig. From Fort Augustus take the B862 and, one and a half miles after Whitebridge, take the B852 to Inverfarigaig. The carpark is signposted from Inverfarigaig, just along the unclassified road to the Pass of Inverfarigaig. There is a very infrequent bus service between Inverness and Fort Augustus.
