About Lochan Walk
A short circular walk with wheelchair access to experience the tranquil lochan.
Enjoy the reflections of majestic trees and flowering rhododendrons under the superb mountain backdrop.
GLENCOE LOCHAN 'RED TRAIL' (THE TRACK AROUND THE LOCHAN) WILL BE CLOSED FROM 16TH JANUARY - 17TH MARCH FOR UPGRADE WORKS TO THE PATH SURFACE TO MAKE IT FULLY ACCESSIBLE TO USERS OF ALL ABILITIES. THE BLUE AND YELLOW ROUTES WILL ALSO BE AFFECTED. PLEASE FIND ALTERNATIVE WALKS DURING THIS TIME. THANK YOU!
How to get there:
Lochan Walk can be started from Glencoe Lochan car park in Glencoe Lochan which is part of Glencoe. Glencoe is the nearest town or village.
Cross the River Coe from Glencoe Village and turn left after 100 metres (signposted for Glencoe Lochan and the hospital) at an old gatehouse.
Bear right at the fork to take you to the car park and access to walks and fishing on the lochan.
