About Pond Trail

The shorter of the two all abilities routes winds its way through mixed pine forest past a salmon shaped pond on the banks of the Aldie Burn.

How to get there:

Pond Trail can be started from Aldie Burn Car Park in Aldie Burn which is part of Easter Ross. Tain is the nearest town or village.

Follow the Aldie Burn forest walk signs south from the A9 Tain bypass down Scotsburn Road for two miles, until you reach the signed forest entrance. The car park is about 1/8 mile down the forest road on your left.
