About Kennick Burn Blue

This is the longer of the two trails. The blue trail follows the same route as the shorter yellow trail for a short distance. It continues further along the grassy forest road until you cross a bridgeand then develops into a lovely meander along the grassy bank of the bubbling Kennick burn

How to get there:

Kennick Burn Blue can be started from Laurieston - Kennick Burn in Galloway Forest Park. Laurieston is the nearest town or village.

From Newton Stewart:

Take the A712 signposted New Galloway. At new Galloway turn right onto the A762 signposted Gatehouse of Fleet and Kirkcudbright. At Laurieston turn right onto the B795 Gatehouse of Fleet road and the Kennick burn trails are about two miles up the road.
