Please note, there are currently diversions in place on this trail. (Updated 20th May 2013)
On this trail discover Spout Head Waterfall and the tomb of five brave Covenanters who were murdered because of their convictions to obey God rather than the King.
The trail then follows along the banks of the flowing Minnoch back to the visitor centre.
How to get there:
Yellow Trail can be started from Glentrool Visitor Centre in Galloway Forest Park. Newton Stewart is the nearest town or village.
From Newton Stewart take A714 signposted to Girvan for 8 miles. Take right turn at Bargrennan signposted Galloway Forest Park. Take next right turn just past Glentrool village, signposted Glentrool Visitor Centre.
By Bus: 359, goes from Newton Stewart to Ayr, stopping at Glentrool Village.
