This is a nice easy route around Clatteringshaws Loch with no major climbs or descents. The route follows tarmac roads and forest roads.

Round the Loch cycle route can be started from Clatteringshaws Visitor Centre in Galloway Forest Park. New Galloway is the nearest town or village.
From Newton Stewart: A712 to New Galloway.
From New Galloway: A712 to Newton Stewart.
