Galloway Wood Festival 2008
 

Sunday 24th August, 10am to 4pm at Kirroughtree Visitor Centre

The first year was such a success we just had to run it again! Come and spend the day with us and enjoy the wide range of activities that we've got lined up for you:

  • falconry displays
  • puppet shows
  • chainsaw carving
  • big forest machines
  • and much more!


  • There are also a number of outdoor pursuits Dumfries and Galloway Council and The Breakpad Bike Shop will be leading fun activities throughout the day for you to have a go at.

    Access

    There is good access to most of the event, with a path around the main areas - note though that many of the stalls and the main arena will be on grass, and the land is uneven in some places.
