White trail
 

This trail is a nice easy stroll through the heart of the woodland with stunning views across the Solway Firth. In spring and summer this trail is a delight with the sight and scent of woodland flowers.

How to get there:

White trail can be started from Barhill Carpark in Barhill which is part of Galloway Forest Park. Kirkcudbright is the nearest town or village.

From Newton Stewart:, A75 signposted Dumfries, turn right onto the A755 just after Gatehouse of Fleet signposted Kirkcudbright. Straight on through Kirkcudbright, then turn left, up past Safeway's, straight on for half a mile then right into the carpark.
