Drover's Trail

(Average user rating: unrated unrated)

About Drover's Trail

This route leads you south out of Aros Park towards Apper Mor. It initally follows the old path network within the park and then leads out onto a forest road.

As you leave the coniferous wooded area of the park and come out onto the open hillside and the southern end of the Park, fine vistas open up, looking down the Sound of Mull towards the islands of Lismore and Kerrera.

If heading into the park, from Apper Mor on display are fine views across the Sound of Mull to Loch Sunart and Ben Hiant on the Ardnamurchan peninsula.

How to get there:

Drover's Trail can be started from Aros Park Car Park in Aros Park. Tobermory is the nearest town or village.

The park is situated on the island of Mull about one mile from Tobermory on the A848. To reach the main access point travel down the main drive for about three-quarters of a mile.
