Loch Tor Trail

(Average user rating: unrated unrated)

About Loch Tor Trail

This route links you from  Loch Tor to the cycle route from Dervaig to Glengorm.

On travelling along it in a northerly direction you get fine views to the Inner Hebrides namely Rhum, Muck, Eigg and in the background, on a clear day, Skye.

The route travels along the edge of the valley with the Mingary river below.

Where it opens out of the trees, it is worth taking a moment to stop and watch, as it is a good location for seeing deer and observing the Mingary River meandering in the valley below

How to get there:

Loch Tor Trail can be started from Loch Tor Car Park in Ardmore. Dervaig and Tobermory is the nearest town or village.

The car park is just off the B8073 Tobermory to Dervaig road at the southern end of Loch Tor
