Ardmore Bay walk

(Average user rating: unrated unrated)

About Ardmore Bay walk

A walk through a commercial forest which is now being opened up by felling of mature trees to reveal the treasures of Ardmore.

These include the ruined villages of Penalbanach and Ardmore and spectacular views over to Ardnamurchan.

Those lucky, and quiet enough may even get a glimpse of an otter or a sea eagle.

How to get there:

Ardmore Bay walk can be started from Ardmore Car Park in Ardmore. Tobermory is the nearest town or village.

Travelling to Dervaig from Tobermory on the B8073, take the turning for Glengorm on the outskirts of Tobermory. The car park is about one mile along this road on the right-hand side.
