Hazel Burn Walk

(Average user rating: unrated unrated)

About Hazel Burn Walk

This circular trail leads you down to shore of Loch Fyne to where the burn meets the sea.

This is often a good place to see rafts of eider ducks diving for shellfish. There is a picnic spot here where you can relax and enjoy the view across the loch to Cowal.

The route follows a track just above the shore before leading you through the heart of Ardcastle back to the car park.

How to get there:

Hazel Burn Walk can be started from Ardcastle Car Park in Ardcastle. Lochgair is the nearest town or village.

Ardcastle is two miles east of Lochgair or three and a half miles west of Minard along the A83.
