About Arcastle Point
Continuing on from the Hazel Burn Walk this longer walk stays close to the shore for much of its route.
There are two great picnic spots along the way where you can relax by the pebble beach and take in the splendid views of Loch Fyne or if you are lucky, watch otters searching for food along the shoreline.
From Ardcastle Point follow the forest road beside Loch Gair to the ancient St Brides Chapel with its small graveyard.
How to get there:
Arcastle Point can be started from Ardcastle Car Park in Ardcastle. Lochgair is the nearest town or village.
Ardcastle is two miles east of Lochgair or three and a half miles west of Minard along the A83.
