Cowal Walking & Arts Festival
 

Come & experience Cowal with its stunning scenery of hills, trees & water. The Argyll Forest park is part of the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park.

ENJOY YOURSELF: Most of our walk facilitators are volunteers. They will share with you their knowledge and passion for the breathtaking scenery, hills,forests, wildlife history & culture of this special place. Without their generous support and input this event could not take place.

What's of interest
The Argyll Forest Park, was the first Forest Park to be set up by the Forestry Commission, in Great Britain, in 1935. Lying just north of the Highland boundary fault, the park covers over 55,500 acres of forest, hill and lochs and has a wealth of opportunities for a wide variety of outdoor activities.
