About Succoth Burn
Starting at the carpark at Arrochar, cross the A83 to the trail which gently climbs into the Ardgartan Forest.
Pause along the way and take in the views of Loch Long and 'The Cobbler' (Ben Arthur), Ben Lomond and the village of Arrochar. Where the path joins the forest road turn right. Again, the views from this forest road are fantastic before the path enters the more enclosed forest, and then returns to the carpark by way of the public road.
How to get there:
Succoth Burn can be started from Arrochar and Tarbet Railway Station in Arrochar which is part of Argyll Forest Park. Arrochar is the nearest town or village.
Follow the M8 through Glasgow, onto the A82 along Lochlomondside towards Tarbet. Then follow the A83 to Arrochar Village.
