About Cat Craig Cycle Loop

This is a circular trail that includes some spectacular views over Arrochar. At about the halfway mark, you are required to dismount to cross over the Prince's Bridge. Beyond this point it is mainly downhill back to the start, with good panoramic views over the Cobbler and Glen Croe.

How to get there:

Cat Craig Cycle Loop can be started from Ardgartan Visitor Centre in Ardgartan which is part of Argyll Forest Park. Arrochar is the nearest town or village.

Follow the A82 along the western shore of Loch Lomond through Tarbet entering the Forest Park at Arrochar, then follow the A83 for three miles to Ardgartan.
