Boathouse Walk

 

This walk starts at the car park. You cross the bridge and follow the forest road southwards to the caravan park, where the path turns left. Keep to the shore of Loch Long, north past the boathouse. The route continues across the playing fields where it joins the banks of the Croe Water, then follow the waymarkers back to the car park.

How to get there:

Boathouse Walk can be started from Ardgartan Visitor Centre in Ardgartan which is part of Argyll Forest Park. Arrochar is the nearest town or village.

Follow the A82 along the western shore of Loch Lomond through Tarbet entering the Park at Arrochar then follw the A83 for 3 miles to Ardgartan.
