About Boathouse Walk
This walk starts at the car park. Follow the BLUE waymarkers East past the picnic benches through the woodland alongside the Croe Water.
Please Note:
There is currently a diversion in place on this trail due to storm damage to the lower bridge by the Forest Holidays Site. Instead follow the BLUE waymarkers across the first footbridge to the road just above the Pink Cottage, turn left and continue to follow the Blue waymarkers form here. Also please be aware that there is some construction work ongoing at the bottom of the Peninsula so there may be construction traffic on this section of the route.
This diversion is likely to remain in place for the immediate future.
How to get there:
Boathouse Walk can be started from Ardgartan Visitor Centre in Ardgartan which is part of Argyll Forest Park. Arrochar is the nearest town or village.
Follow the A82 along the western shore of Loch Lomond through Tarbet entering the Forest Park at Arrochar, then follow the A83 for three miles to Ardgartan.
