Ardgartan Peninsula Circuit
A grand tour of the wild rugged and remote Ardgartan Peninsula with excellent views of the Clyde and the surrounding mountains. Although the route is mostly on forest roads, small sections are on public roads and parts off road. The circuit is best tackled from one of the three starting points in a clockwise direction and can be broken by admiring the views from the picnic area provided. Food/Toilet available at Lochgoilhead.
How to get there:
Ardgartan Peninsula Circuit can be started from Ardgartan Visitor Centre in Ardgartan which is part of Argyll Forest Park. Arrochar is the nearest town or village.
Follow the A82 along the western shore of Loch Lomond through Tarbet entering the Park at Arrochar then follw the A83 for 3 miles to Ardgartan.
