Red cycle trail

There are two sections of the red trail that are spurs off the white trail. One section goes over Green Hill which is quite muddy and rocky. The other red section goes over Cairn William and should be ridden from west to east.

The Cairn William section has rocky and slab sections (including the Devil's staircase), berms, jumps and great views!

This trail is suitable for good mountainbikers.

Gradients: Steep.

Surface: width below 1m with a wide range of surfaces including very rocky over slabs and staircase.

Please note: trail is not designed for horse riders.

You can download the Pitifichie cycle trails map from the link on the right hand side of this page.
