Ski trails

The trails are a variety of lengths and there should be something to suit every ability. Some of the routes are groomed to help hold the snow and to improve the conditions for ski-ing. At each junction you will find a copy of the route map, marked to show where you are. You can use this to decide where to go next and it saves carrying a route map.

How to get there:

Ski trails can be started from Clashindarroch Car park in Clashindarroch Forest. Rhynie is the nearest town or village.

Follow the A941 from Rhynie to Dufftown for approximately 5 miles. There is a large car parking area on the left.

OS Grid Reference: NJ 429 268

What's of interest
Contact the Huntly Nordic and Outdoor Centre for ski hire, lessons or a copy of the route map (01466 794428) or look at www.huntly.net/hnoc. On the hill-top conditions can often be cold and windy. Please wear clothing and equipment suitable for the conditions you may experience.
