Semi-Permanent Orienteering Courses

 

Permanent because they will be there all year round but Semi because courses will be changed regularly so the challenge is always fresh. Map packs which are available from the Bennachie Centre include a basic introduction to the sport and some hints and tips for tackling the more difficult legs. The course will be changed every two months over the winter.

How to get there:

Semi-Permanent Orienteering Courses can be started from The Bennachie Centre Car Park in Bennachie. Chapel of Garioch is the nearest town or village.

Travel on the A96 north past Inverurie. Approximately 2 miles beyond Inverurie take a road on the left sign posted to Chapel of Garioch. At Chapel of Garioch turn left (sign posted to the Bennachie Centre). Follow this road for 2 miles. The car park is on your right.
