Yellow Walk

This short walk leads you along past the Pamphil Burn, up a short flight of steps and returns through a young oak wood. There is a seat at the far end of the walk, near the steps. A lovely gentle walk.

You can download a map of the trail from the 'what's of interest' panel on the right of this page.

How to get there:

Yellow Walk can be started from Drumtochty Car Park in North Drumtochty which is part of Fetteresso Forest. Auchenblae, Glenbervie, Drumlithie, Stonehaven, Fettercairn, Laurencekirk, and Strachan are the nearest towns or villages.

If coming from Deeside, take the old Cairn O'Mount Road (B974) at Strachan, follow this road over the Cairn O'Mount, and take unclassified road to the left at the Clatterin Brig (opposite the cafe)., Follow this road for roughly 5 km and the car park is sign posted on your left.
