Reeburn Walk

This short trail is on forest road and unsurfaced paths, and explores the north eastern section of Scolty Woodland Park. The shade loving mosses, ferns and other forest plants are especially beautiful alongside the narrow paths and dykes.

You can download a map of the trail from the 'what's of interest' panel on the right of this page.

How to get there:

Reeburn Walk can be started from Scolty Car Park in Scolty Woodland Park which is part of Blackhall Forest. Auchattie, Banchory, and Strachan are the nearest towns or villages.

The car park is roughly 1.75 km from the traffic lights in Banchory. Take the B976 south at the traffic lights, cross over the River Dee, take the first public road to the right, then the next public road to the left. Near the top of the hill turn right along a track past the Scolty sign board, and take the next track to the right again past another sign board. The car park is on your left roughly 30m along this track.
