Yellow Walk
This yellow waymarked walk follows the route of the Blue Walk up Tillybeth Hill, then continues onto the top of the Hill of Tillylair. The route is steep and rough in places, but the views are terrific, looking to the south over Feughside and the hills beyond. The route returns along a well surfaced forest road.
You can download a map of the trail from the 'what's of interest' panel on the right of this page.
How to get there:
Yellow Walk can be started from Shooting Greens Car Park in Blackhall which is part of Blackhall Forest. Banchory, Strachan, and Kincardine O' Neil are the nearest towns or villages.
From Banchory, take the A93 west to the Potarch Bridge. Turn south over the bridge on the B993, then take the next left immediately after the bridge. Follow this unclassified public road for roughly 4 km, and the car park is sign posted on your left.
