Red Trail

If you follow the red trail you will pass near all the woodland sculptures. There are a couple of short steep slopes on this trail, which passes through some magnificent mature Douglas firs at the eastern end of the wood. Walking between these huge trees, looking up at their towering crowns can make our human sculptures seem clumsy and awkward - nature is the best architect!

You can download a map of the trail under 'what's of interest' on the right of this page.

How to get there:

Red Trail can be started from Tyrebagger Car Parks in Tyrebagger Wood which is part of Aberdeen Woods. Kintore, Hatton Of Fintray, Blackburn, Dyce, Bucksburn, Westhill, Kirkton Of Skene, and and Aberdeen are the nearest towns or villages. are the nearest towns or villages.
